Bank Holiday weekend brought many Englanders out in force including the racers that Doug mentioned and mountain bikers. The course went up this hill. I have a great admiration for these runners since my 48 hour races were on a seventh of a mile indoor track.
We arrived at the Buck Inn in time to start a cribbage game but then Jeff and I went to watch some Cricket. 
Had a lovely dinner at the Inn including some Sticky Toffee Pudding. Our host Wolfgang includes German beer which was fun for a variation.
